Originated in 2010 ,the "English World Cup" translation competition has become one of the most influential translation competitions in China,which includes two categories: "English to Chinese" and "Chinese to English".

The 12th "English World Cup" translation competition is sponsored by the "English World" magazine of the Commercial Press and co-organized by the College of Foreign Languages and Literature of Beijing Normal University. After strict preliminary and final reviews, a total of 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 2 third prizes, and 40 excellence prizes in the English-Chinese translation category as well as 2 first prizes, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 21 excellent prizes in the Chinese-English translation category beat out among 2268 participants.
