Notice on the 2022 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week International Students and Youth Micro Video Creation Competition

Relevant colleges and youth friends:

While attending the summit commemorating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN dialogue relationships in 2021, President Xi Jinping proposed that China and ASEAN countries have embarked on a bright road of good-neighborliness, friendship and win-win cooperation,which has made important contributions to the cause of human progress.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week. Focusing on the theme of "Keeping each other's eyes and helping each other, amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness - discussing, building and sharing a colorful future for China-ASEAN educational exchanges and cooperation", the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee of China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week ,together with the Guizhou Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, we will jointly hold the 2022 China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week International Students and Youth Micro-Video Creation Competition for international students and youth from ASEAN and the "Belt and Road" countries based on "peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy, "Freedom" is the common value of all mankind, telling the stories of studying abroad and those around you, thereby deepening the exchanges and mutual learning of youth civilizations in various countries, showing the multicultural characteristics of the region, and better promoting friendly exchanges and people-to-people bonds among international youth.

The specific requirements are as follows:

1. Participants

International students and youth aged 12-35 in ASEAN and“One Belt and One Road” countries.

2. Theme and content

Focusing on the theme of "Watching and helping each other, amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness - discussing, building and sharing a colorful future for China-ASEAN educational exchanges and cooperation", including but not limited to the following:

(1). We are together to build a peaceful, tranquil, prosperous, beautiful and friendly homeland;

(2). My study abroad story;

(3). My story about China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week;

(4). Chinese traditional culture in my eyes;

(5). Sending blessings for the 15th anniversary of the "China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week";

(6). Give full play to creativity and display relevant content such as "Share a Shared Future and Build a Homeland", "China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week" and "We Are Together";

(7). Various forms, such as singing Chinese songs, dances, poems and other talent forms for display.

3. Deadline

May 20, 2022.

4. Video Requirements

(1) Please use camcorders, cameras, mobile phones and other equipment to shoot horizontally, with stable picture and clear picture quality (the resolution is not less than 1920*1080, and the file is in mov or mp4 format);

(2) The duration is controlled within 2-3 minutes;

(3) The voice is clear, the conception is novel, and the artistic expression is full;

(4) It is recommended that the filming language be mainly Chinese. If English or the official language of ASEAN countries is used, please add Chinese subtitles and provide the corresponding translated text;

(5) For videos with subtitles, the same version of the video without subtitles must be provided at the same time.

5. Instructions for collection

(1) The works are original, real and healthy, with vivid and vivid themes and positive content;

(2) The works must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, do not involve politics or religion, and prevent plagiarism, misappropriation, provision of false materials or violation of relevant laws and regulations;

(3) Support individuals or teams to participate in the competition, support unit organization recommendation, and award "Excellent Organization Award" to units with outstanding organizational work;

(4) Some of the award-winning works will be selected as material for the theme film of the 2022 Exchange Week. The Secretariat of the Exchange Week Organizing Committee has the final right to interpret the organization of this event and the use of the works.

6. Registration method

Please send the works and the registration form to the mailbox of the Secretariat Office of the Organizing Committee of the Exchange Week (caecw2008@163.com) before May 20, and the email should indicate "name of the work + name of the contestant + age + identity + work unit + contact number ".

7. Review Process and Scoring Criteria

The evaluation process of the competition is divided into initial review, review and final review, with a total score of 100 points. The specific scoring standards are as follows:

(1) Video content: closely related to the theme, clear-cut, positive, artistically expressive and influential (accounting for 25 points);

(2) Shooting quality: clear picture, stable lens, no color distortion, beautiful composition, etc. (accounting for 25 points);

(3) Editing production: standardization and fluency of sound effects, subtitles, editing, etc. (25 points);

(4) Innovation and creativity: the script, shooting technique, and interpretation method of the work have a unique perspective and creativity (accounting for 25 points).

8. Rewards

(1) First prize: 3 people, each work will be rewarded with RMB 8,000;

(2) Second prize: 5 people, each work will be rewarded with RMB 5,000;

(3) Third prize: 10, each work will be rewarded with RMB 3,000;

(4) Excellence Award: 30, the Secretariat of the Exchange Week Organizing Committee will issue certificates to the participants of the Excellence Award;

(5) Outstanding Organization Award: several.
