News from our website (Report by Luo Shiqi): On November 26, a six-member delegation led by Alan Thomas McNeilly, Head of International Affairs at the University of Greater Manchester, UK, visited our university. Vice President Zhang Hongxia warmly received the foreign guests.

Mr. Alan and his delegation first visited the University History Museum and the Science and Innovation Exhibition Center, then held a symposium in the conference room on the third floor of the Industry-Education Integration Building. Vice President Zhang Hongxia extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the undergraduate education program in Vehicle Engineering jointly organized by the two universities. She noted that the program, now in its 10th year of implementation, has achieved in-depth integration of the vehicle engineering disciplines of both institutions, with remarkable results in scientific research and talent cultivation. Mr. Alan highly recognized the characteristics and core strengths ofHUAT’s automotive talent cultivation, and expressed his commitment to further promoting exchanges and mutual visits between faculty and students of both sides. He also looked forward to more extensive exchanges and cooperation between the twouniversities in disciplines such as business studies and artificial intelligence.
