On October 17, the School of International Education held orientation education for the 2025 intake of international students in Room 1305.

Fang Peng, Associate Dean of the School of International Education, introduced the university and its programs for international students. He emphasized the laws and regulations closely relevant to international students, requiring all freshmen to abide by Chinese laws and university rules and regulations, and maintain a rigorous academic attitude. He expressed the hope that all students would have a fulfilling and memorable academic experience.

The instructor, Miss Zhang Tingting, has formulated various guides on lifestyle and learning, which instruct foreign students to complete registration as self service.Meanwhile, notices about safety for students staying in campus has been emphasized. At the end all students studied school discipline and regulations of HUAT.

Moreover, Administration branch of Shiyan Police Department and Police Station at West Checheng Road came and distributed brochures about safety on Studying abroad. With policy advocacy and coordination between Police and academy, foreign students gained a deeper awareness of safety law.
