From September 19 to 20, the 2025 New Energy Vehicle Parts Trade Fair was held at Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme Intelligent Connectivity in a New Ecosystem, Green Power Throughout the Global Chain, the event attracted domestic and foreign buying delegations, representatives from business associations, and 312 industry enterprises. Yang Rongguang, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies and Trade at Hubei University of Automotive Technology , was invited to attend and deliver remarks.

At the roundtable forum Wisdom in Jingchu, Links Across the World—Practical Paths for Hubei Automotive Industry Chain Going Global, Yang Rongguang exchanged views with scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, representatives from well known car companies, and experts from Italy’s automotive industry. He highlighted the university’s core strength in the automotive field, and explained the university’s recent progress in improving discipline layout, deepening integration of industry and education, and building a discipline ecosystem and talent training system covering the whole automotive industry chain. He also shared how the School of Foreign Studies and Trade makes use of its interdisciplinary advantage in foreign languages plus international trade plus automotive studies, providing language services, cultural adaptation, and international talent support for enterprises going global. Through measures such as building joint training bases with enterprises and carrying out order based training programs, his presentation received positive feedback.

This deep participation in a high level industry conference is a practical step for the School of Foreign Studies and Trade to follow its development philosophy of relying on the university’s automotive discipline strengths and serving the internationalization of local industries. In the future, the school will continue to focus on the needs of the automotive industry going global, further improve its discipline layout, deepen cooperation with enterprises, and provide more talent power and intellectual support for the high quality global expansion of Hubei’s and even China’s automotive industry.
