Our Confucius Institute has achieved remarkable success in hosting the first Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), which covered all five levels (HSK 1-5). With 33 participants, the overall pass rate reached 91%, with specific results as follows: Level 1 (83%), Level 2 (92%), Level 3 (100%), Level 4 (67%), and Level 5 (100%).

This gratifying achievement not only affirms the phased outcomes of Chinese learners but also serves as a concentrated reflection of the Confucius Institute’s (CI) achievements in Chinese language teaching. Currently, the registration for the second HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is in full swing. The Confucius Institute of our university will continue to uphold the tenet of promoting the Chinese language and facilitating cultural exchanges, further improve teaching quality, and strive for greater success in the upcoming test.
