Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Education Delegation Visits Our University for Academic Exchange

Recently, the “Chinese Bridge” Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Education Delegation visited our university. During their stay, Mr. David Asamoah (Vice-President of KNUST), Professor Kwadwo Mensah-Darkwa (Head of the Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering), Mr. Kabila Abassi (Head of the Faculty of Arts), and Ms. Manful Esmeranda (Vice-President for International Affairs) were appointed Honorary Professors of our university. They subsequently engaged in in-depth and productive academic exchanges and interactions with faculty and students from our School of Automotive Business, School of Automotive Materials, and School of ForeignStudies and Trade(Africa-China Research Center).

Professor Kwadwo Mensah-Darkwa delivered an academic lectureentitled “Research and Application of Bio-Raw Materials in New Energy Storage.”Faculty and students from the School of Automotive Materials actively participated, engaging in lively discussions with the professor on key technical issues such as biomass waste treatment processes, material characterization, and optimization.

Professor David Asamoah communicated with faculty and students specializing in logistics within the School of Automotive Business on the topic of“Promoting Supply Chain Management Practices in Africa.”This exchange provided new perspectives on the international development of logistics, from which the participants gained significant insights.

Professor Kabila Abassi and Professor Manful Esmeranda respectively presented academic reports titled“The English Department at KNUST: A Center of Excellence for English and Literary Studies” and “KNUST and Hubei University of AutomotiveTechnologyCollaboration: A Bridge to Effective Global Competition and Eastern Knowledge Sharing.” In their reports, they provided in-depth analysis of the current status and trends of English studies within the global academic landscape. They also focused on regional cooperation and exchange within the global knowledge dissemination system, offering unique academic perspectives to the attendees.

On behalf of our university, Vice President Zhang Hongxia presented the“Honorary Professor” certificates to the distinguished professors. KNUST Vice President David Asamoah expressed his commitment to fully promoting the continuous deepening of cooperation between the two universities in education, scientific research, and technology transfer, laying a solid foundation for their future collaborative development.
