On the afternoon of August 16, through the proactive facilitation and coordination of our university’s Confucius Institute, Xinan Sunshine (Ghana) Agricultural Supplies Co., Ltd. (WYNCA SUNSHINE hereinafter referred to as "Xinan Sunshine") and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) formally entered into a cooperation agreement.
In the preparatory phase of the agreement, the Confucius Institute actively engaged in liaison between the enterprise and relevant departments of KNUST, including the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Office of International Affairs. This effort deepened university-enterprise communication and secured KNUST’s endorsement of the agreement. Meanwhile, the Confucius Institute provided full-process consultation and text translation and proofreading services for the signing event plan. On the day of the event, Su Zibo, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the unveiling of the internship base for the school and the enterprise. The public-sent teacher Gao Zijuan provided language translation services for both sides to ensure the smooth progress of the event.
The signing of this agreement marks a new step taken by the Confucius Institute in promoting the implementation of school-enterprise cooperation and facilitating China-Africa exchanges. It has been highly praised by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of KNUST and Xinan Sunshine Company.
It is reported that Xinan Sunshine Company is one of the "Cultural Bridge Strategic Cooperation Partners" of the Confucius Institute at our university, with which it has maintained close interactions over the long term. The Confucius Institute will continue to fulfill its role as a bridge and link; on the basis of disseminating the Chinese language and culture, it will build platforms for more Chinese-invested enterprises, drive more cooperation projects to take root and thrive, and advance the in-depth integration of education, scientific research and industry.
