Reported by Deng Zhaowen (August 22, 2025)—The 29th International Symposium on Dynamics of Vehicles on Roads and Tracks (IAVSD 2025) was held at Tongji University from August 18 to 22, 2025. Hosted by the IAVSD Committee and organized by Tongji University, it is a top-tier conference in the international field of vehicle system dynamics.

During the symposium, a paper by Professor Deng Zhaowen from our Intelligent Connected Vehicle College, titled Development and Simulation of Multi-Axle Active Steering for Articulated Heavy Vehicles Using Driver-in-the-Loop Systems, was accepted, and he delivered an oral presentation. Professor Deng, accompanied by graduate students, discussed topics such as multi-axle active safety control for articulated heavy commercial vehicles, driver-in-the-loop systems, and LTV-MPC robust stability control. His presentation aroused great interest among participating experts and scholars, leading to lively interactions on site. (Reviewed by Zeng Xiaoyan)
