At 1:00 PM on January 14, 2025, the signing ceremony for the fourth Chinese teaching site of our universitys Confucius Institute was held in the Presidents Office of Kumasi Technical University. Su Zibo, the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute, and Gabriel Dwomoh, the President of Kumasi Technical University, signed the agreement on behalf of the Confucius Institute and Kumasi Technical University respectively, marking the official establishment of the fourth teaching site of our universitys Confucius Institute.

It is reported that the Chinese teaching site of Kumaxi University of Technology is the first university-level teaching site of our Confucius Institute. The negotiation of the teaching site began in April 2024. After several rounds of negotiations, the Confucius Institute and Kumasi University of Technology have revised the terms and texts many times, and finally reached an agreement.

Danial Y. Duah, President of the Confucius Institute , Min Zuchuan, a representative of the Confucius Institute, Safo Mensah, director of the International Office of Kumasi University of Technology, and relevant personnel attended the meeting and witnessed the signing ceremony of the agreement.
