A group of 48 HUAT international students from Bangladesh, Ghana, Morocco, Pakistan, Algeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Tanzania showed their beauties on the track of the DongFeng Motor 2025 Shiyan Marathon on April 13, 2025.

The charm of Motor City was measured by their youthful footsteps and  a chapter of friendship has been written with their sincere smiles.

The international students got up at 5:00 and headed for the Olympic Sports Center to start the competition, among them, 47 international students participated in health run and ISLAM BELHAOUA from Algeria participated in half marathon.

BELHAOUA said it was a great experience to finish the 22 km half marathon in Shiyan and was delighted to have this opportunity to participate in DongFeng Motor 2025 Shiyan Marathon, and he hopes to finish the full marathon in 2026.

It is reported that more than 20,000 runners registered for this marathon, including 512 runners from 23 countries, including Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States. The spirit of courage and perseverance are vital  virtual for athletes, and deeply rooted in the internationalization of sports in Motor City.
