On the morning of April 20th, 2024, the "International Chinese Language Day" of Hubei Province was launched at Hubei University. The event,themed ‘Chinese: Build a bridge for mutual learning of civilizations’, featured an opening ceremony performance, a exhibition of regional Jingchu(Hubei) culture, a specialized job fair for international students, a cultural and artistic evening showcasing mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations. Two HUAT international students, were invited.

At the beginning of the event, they came to the familiar Shiyan booth to interact. They also actively participated in traditional Chinese cultural activities such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, and archery, experiencing the regional Jingchu(Hubei) cultures of various places in Hubei. In order to better plan their career paths, two international students also attended the specialized job fair for international students. Through communication with the 20 enterprises in person, they became more clear about their professional learning goals and insufficient personal development.Through this experiential activity, international students not only fully felt the mutual learning and mutual reference of diverse cultures, but also experienced the charm of the Chinese language and the importance of learning it well. They hope to use Chinese as a platform, , opportunity, and vehicle to help them grow faster in China.
