Recently, the selection result of the Joint Undergraduate and Graduate Programof Université Clermont Auvergne(University of Perpignan) was released.After passing the strict language and professional ability testing as well as interviewing, six students of HUAT received letters of conditional offer of Université Clermont Auvergne, becoming the seventh-year students of the Joint Undergraduate and Graduate Programin France.Written examination and interview of this year were held by video communication on the platform TEAMS.The examination was monitored byYang Qing, our French teacher, and CélineGABET, the teacher from the counterpart,in an on-line and off-line manner.
According to the joint program between the two universities, after 2-3 years of French language training at the school, our students of majoring in computer, mathematics, physics and mechanics will be recommended to the elite engineering college of Université Clermont-Auvergne for selection, and the selected students can go to France to start a three-year study life. After graduation, they will receive a master's diploma in engineering from the Université Clermont-Auvergne(UCA) in France (higher than the master's degree of a French university)
This time,six students in our school have passed the test carried by France,which symbolizes the success in Chinese-French Cooperative Educational Projects. And it is good for expanding channels for studying abroad, deepening the communication and cooperation with International schools,like Université Clermont-Auvergne. At the meantime,it plays a vital role in accelerating and strengthening international exchanges and cooperation.
