On June 2nd, during the 2023 graduation season for international students studying in China, Dean Zhu Zhanwei,Vice Dean Fang Peng and international student counselor Zhang Tingting of the School of International Education of HUAT (Hubei University Of Automotive Technology)went to Jingchu University of Technology and Hubei University of Arts and Sciences for enrollment promotion and research.

In Jingchu University of Technology, Fang Peng, Vice Dean of the School of International Education, used the urban image of Shiyan (including Wudang Mountain,Danjiang River and its title Automobile City) to cut to the chase and attract the attention of undergraduate students studying in China. He then introduced the situation and advantages of HUAT about international communication. Marketing majors at Jingchu Institute of Technology showed strong interest in HUAT and raised many questions. After further understanding enrollment and admission policies, they actively followed HUAT’s official account, and said that they would introduce HUAT to more international students.

During the admissions work, our university also conducted research on the rich experience of two universities concerning recruitment and management of international students in China, as well as the application and management of Sino foreign cooperative education. We exchanged some insights and experiences in foreign exchange work, and learned from the two universities excellent measures in system construction, resource allocation, and quality and efficiency improvement, which helped our university innovate better,reform the mechanism of foreign affairs work and provide a good example about promoting foreign exchanges.

This admissions effort anchors the goals of HUAT’s 14th Five Year Plan, aligns with the theme of university promotion, further improves the quality of our school's international student source, and promotes foreign exchange work.
