In order to promote our new students to plan their university life in advance, further broaden the channels of promotion and employment, and enhance the willingness to go abroad to exchange and study, the International Exchange and Cooperation Officewill carry out international exchange projects at the second-level colleges on the occasion of the new students' commencement.

On September 14th, Ms. Zhang Tingting from the International Division visited the School of Mechanical Engineering to brief the freshmen of related majors about our university's dual degree program with the Hochschule Ulm Technik, Informatik und Medi in Germany. She highlighted the program's overview, history, achievements, and benefits.Since the signing of the cooperation agreement in 2007, this program has established a mature training model and has successfully dispatched 84 students to date.

Concurrently, we introduced the 2+2 or 3+1+1 exchange program between our university and Kettering University to the freshmen of the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Automotive Engineering, offering them fresh perspectives on further academic pursuits and future career opportunities in terms of professional expertise, global perspectives, and linguistic proficiencies.

On September 17th, Fang Peng, the Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office, visited the School of Foreign Languages to introduce our university's paid internship program in the United States to the freshmen. This program provides a platform and channel for students majoring in English and Translation to enhance their academic pursuits. It not only cultivates good oral communication skills but also offers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of American culture and experience authentic American life.

The aim of this lecture series is to serve students and the college, foster an international atmosphere on campus, and elevate our university's international education standards while bolstering its global influence.
