The school of Automotive Engineering has recently announced some good news: seven graduates from the Class of 2023 who participated in the "3+1" program have successively received pre-admission notices from prestigious universities such as the University of Leeds and the University of Bath in the UK.
In September 2022, seven students from the Class 195-196 of Vehicle engineering, including Fan Hanqi, passed the language exam and professional interview and went to the University of Bolton in the UK to study for the final year of the "3+1" program.
The three years of professional study and practice in Hubei University of Automotive Technology have laid a solid foundation for students to quickly integrate into the study and life of Bolton.

The major of Vehicle Engineering (Sino-UK cooperation) is the first Sino-foreign cooperation educational project at Hubei University of Automotive Technology , which has realized the deep integration of our school's national first-class undergraduate construction major - Vehicle Engineering and the Automobile Performance Engineering major at the National Racing Engineering Center of the University of Bolton in the UK.
The students trained by this program have solid professional foundation, outstanding practical ability, and obvious innovation consciousness and possess good international vision.
Since the launch of the project in 2015, we will soon welcome the fifth generation of graduates. They have achieved outstanding results in employment and further education. Previous graduates have won the favor of the world's top 500 enterprises such as Dongfeng, BYD, Bosch and Geely.
The admission rate is more than 25%, including world-famous universities such as the University of Warwick, the University of Birmingham, the University of Leeds and the University of Bath, as well as domestic prestigious universities such as Wuhan University of Technology, Soochow University, Southwest Jiaotong University and Hebei University of Technology.
There are a total of 67 students who will graduate in 2023, of which 17 are admitted to master's degree in domestic and foreign universities, and Class 196 of vehicle engineering has been awarded the school's "excellent collective for postgraduate examination".
