On the morning of October 23, the inauguration of the 2023 World Wudang Tai Chi Conference took place at the Wudang Mountains in the city of Shiyan, Hubei province. Zhang Wenxue, the Chairman of University Council , attended the opening ceremony and visited HUAT international students who participated in the conference and the seventh Tai Chi Boxing International Fellowship Competition to encourage them for carring forward the HUAT’s spirit characterized by perseverance and courage.

After the intense competition, the team of HUAT Bangladeshi international students won the second place. PIAL BARUA and six other international students secured second place, while PARTHO PROTIM ACHARJEE and nine other international students achieved the commendable third place in the Wudang Tai Chi Boxing Nine-Style Competition.
