Recently, the selection results for students studying abroad at the Université de Perpignan, France, were announced. After rigorous French language and professional tests, six students who participated in the selection process have been admitted to the University of Perpignan, and they will soon become the first cohort of students in our university's HUAT-UPVD Sino-French Joint Education Program. This year's  first interview selection was conducted online via Zoom conference, with the cooperation of three professors from the Université de Perpignan, Frédéric Thierry, David Defour, and Anne-Véronique Fabre, along with two teachers from our university, Xu Yueting and Yang Qing.

According to the agreement of the joint education program between the two universities, students majoring in computer science, mathematics, physics, and mechanics at our university will receive 2-3 years of French language training before being recommended for selection at the Université de Perpignan.Students who pass the selection will be able to embark on a three-year study life in France and will be awarded the French National Master's Degree by the  Université de Perpignan upon graduation.

The successful admission of these 6 students from HUAT to the Université de Perpignan's inaugural selection marks the expansion of our Sino-French joint training program from a single UCA university in France to the Université de Perpignan (UPVD), indicating that our Sino-French 3+3 program has entered the era of collaboration with two prestigious French universities. The smooth implementation of this program has greatly broadened the study abroad opportunities for our students and promoted cooperation and exchange with international elite universities such as the Université de Perpignan. At the same time, it has played a role in accelerating HUAT's international cooperation and deepening the achievements of our external exchanges. The Institute of Automotive Engineering will remain steadfast in its confidence and determination to establish long-term cooperation with renowned French universities and continue to advance and explore in the field of Sino-French talent cultivation.
