On March 28, Alexander Birle, Chief Representative of Hanns-Seidel Stiftung (Gansu Representative Office), Cui Qinghua, Director of Hanns-Seidel Stiftung (Gansu Representative Office) and Director of China West Vocational Education and Development Center, and Ge Shujun, translator, visited HUAT. Zhang Hongxia pointed out that German universities were the first batch of foreign universities to carry out educational cooperation and friendly exchanges with foreign countries, and thus started the friendship between the two universities for 30 years. At the beginning of the 21st century, the strong support of the Foundation has brought our educational cooperation and exchanges with Germany to a new height. She hopes that Hans Seidel Foundation and HUAT can continue to renew the friendship and deepen the cooperation. Mr. Birle said that HUAT was one of the first universities in China to have educational cooperation and exchanges with the Foundation. The cooperation program between HUAT and University of Baden-Wurttemberg in Germany was once a global demonstration program of the Foundation. The concept and method of Dual-System Education help HUAT to improve the teaching level and quality and deepen the integration of industry and education. He is hoping that the two sides will strengthen cooperation, let the cooperation field keep up with the pace of the development of The times, and better promote the development of higher education.
