From July 3 to July 8, 2022 China-ASEAN "Zhing-Xing Guizhou" Silk Road Youth Exchange Program was held in GuizhouUniversity of Engineering and Applied Technology. 4 international studentsin HUATfrom Bangladesh, Rwanda,Congo D.R.and Mali were invited to participate in thisprogram.

This exchange week has a rich itinerary and various cultural experience activities like visiting the Ancient Templeof Qianxi to pursue the Yangming culture of the unity of knowledge and action; visiting Huawu Village to experience the new look of poverty alleviation in the new countryside and the feast of singing and dancingfromMiao nationality;admiring wine brewing process, fascinating taste ofthefamous Chinese liquor. The special courses such as traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy courses, traditional ethnic sportscourses, paper-cutting and batik, which are carried out in Wumeng Painting and Calligraphy Institute of GuizhouUniversity of Engineering Applied Technology, are very new to many students who experience it for the first time.

Ji Xiaolong, an international student fromHUAT, said at the graduation ceremony: This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Wumeng with both eyes, listen to the sounds of nature with both ears, and measureevery inch ofgoldland with both feet. We cherish the opportunity to study in China, and hope that we can bring Chinese traditional culture back to our hometown in the future and be good ambassadors of cultural exchanges in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
