From December 24th to 26th, the 35th College Student Martial Arts Routine Championships of Hubei Province was held in Wudang International Martial Arts College of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education.

Players from 27 colleges and universities in Hubei participated in the competition, HUAT martial arts team  participated in the group A (general college group) competition under the leadership of the coach Chen Ling. After fierce competition, we won the fifth place in the total score of the women's group A; the sixth place in the total score of the men's group A; 6th place in total score of the mixed group. Among them, Chen Diling won the first place in Women's Group A Wudang Ta-chi Boxing and the first place in Women's Group A Wudang Sword Technique ; Xia Chengcheng won the first place in Men's Group A Optional Stick Technique, and the fourth place in Men's Group A optional Changquan Boxing with titles of "Sportsmanship" & "Civilized Athlete"; Cai Zhouqiao won the second place in Men's Group A Wudang Ta-chi Boxing and the second place in Men's Group A Wudang Sword Technique ; Chen Jinglong won the third place in Men's Group A optional Stick Technique and fifth place in Men's Group A Optional Changquan Boxing; Yu Baoyang won the eighth place in Men's Group A Elementary Boxing and the fifth place in Men's Group A Elementary Stick Technique; Xing Guoming won the third place in Men's Group A 24-Style Simplified Ta-chi Boxing, and the sixth place in Men's Group A Elementary Sword Technique ; Li Hongjuan won the second place in the Women's Group A Elementary Sword Technique and the sixth place in the Women's Group Elementary Boxing.
