From December 15th to 16th, the 2021 International Friendship Exchange Day of Hubei Province organized by the Hubei Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the awarding ceremony of "China’s Beautiful Countryside in My Eyes" short video contest and exchange meeting organized by the the Chinese Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries were held in Wuhan.

HUAT international faculty Dr.Amir Najibi and Dr. Unal Yildirim participated in the event. They watched the promotional video of Hubei's rapid economic development after the epidemic, which enhanced their understanding of Hubei. They also learned Tai Chi and experienced the charm of Chinese culture.

Afterwards, they went to Huangpi rural demonstration sites and feel the huge changes and the rapid revitalization of rural agriculture. The North Hankou Commodity Exhibition Center and Wuhan Institute of Intelligent Networking aroused their great interest. Amir said, "I have seen the development of pilotless technology, and I hope that we can also enjoy this technology in the world in the future." Unal said, " I took a lot of photos, and the ones we saw in the exhibition center before, which are really great."

After visiting the Hubei Provincial Museum, and "Chairman Mao and the East Lake" commemorative exhibition, the event came to an end with a show of cultural performances. It is not only an all-round audiovisual feast of discovering and perceiving Hubei, but also a precious memory for our international friends.
