The 2nd Library Cup National English Speaking Talent Show was held by Shanghai Foreign Language Audio-Visual Publishing House（SFLAPH）which aims to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding ofTheCommunistParty of China,spreadingthe spirit of theCommunistParty of China and transmitting the powerofChina to the world. As the organizer, HUAT Library extensively propagandized and motivated students in many ways and there are total 124 participants. The library won the excellent organization prize, teacher Li Jingjing and Gao Ge won the excellent organization individual prizes, as well as Tu Renkang from College of Science and Technology won the excellent award of reader group, Li Chan from the College ofEconomicManagement won the spoken Englishtalent inreadergroup.
Through online test and off-line practice, participants improved their ability of English listening and speaking and speech levels. They show the English level of the HUATers, understand the Communist Party of China better, and deeply express their love towards the Party and the nation.
