Kettering University, a university with unique undergraduate programs in the U.S.A and Hubei University of Automotive Technology, a university specialized in automobile engineering, what can be expected from the cooperation between the two? This April 23, a delegation of five members led by vice president Robert Simpson from Kettering University visited HUAT. The meeting was held in the conference room on the third floor of the administration building with presence of president Hu Zhongjun, vice president Luo Yongge and deans from departments and colleges.
During the meeting, both sides discussed in details the “2+2 program” as well as potential cooperation in such fields as exchange of undergraduates and teachers, research, postgraduates and etc. At the end of the meeting, both sides reached and signed an agreement on “2+2 undergraduate program”, which meant that HUAT had taken a further step in importing excellent undergraduates and postgraduates education resources, advanced education ideas and speeding up its internationalization.
