On March 30, 2013, a large-scale job interview was held at the stadium of HUAT. Present at the opening ceremony were president Hu Zhongjun, vice party secretary Zhao Pengfei, vice president Mao Gaobo and Chen Yong who gave their guidance and advice to the job-seekers. More than 124 enterprises and companies, such as The Youth Automobile Group Corporation, Dongfeng Industrial Company, Hubei Huachang Intelligent Equipment Company and etc. offered more than 2 thousand positions for nearly 10 thousand job-seekers present at the interview spot. It is said that compared with last year, many employers have reduced the number of new employment while posing more demanding requirements for university graduates.
The job interview began at nine in the morning. Most enterprises and companies offer jobs this year in the such areas as mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, molding, electronics and information technology, marketing, international trade, logistics, finance, tourism management and etc.. Apart from some common standards like professional certificates and grades, more employers pay more attention to the comprehensive abilities of the candidates, such as social adaptability, communication ability and hand-on abilities.
