From June 21st to 23rd the fifth International Conference on Computation and Information Sciences 2013(ICCIS) was jointly held successfully by Hubei University of Automotive Technology, University of Kentuckey, Southwest Petroleum University, Chongqing Petroleum and Gas Association and Chongqing Safety Engineering Institute in Shiyan.
The conference invited some domestic and world famous experts and scholars in the fields of computer science and engineering, information science, computing. They delivered wonderful speech and academic lectures. More than 200 experts and scholars from U.S.A., France and domestic universities and research institutions attended the conference. The participants discussed widely and deeply computer science and engineering, information science, new theory, new calculation method, calculation theory and application of advanced new technology.
As an international academic conference with considerable size and influence in its own field, ICCIS 2013 received a total of more than 1000 papers with 500 of them adopted. As the host, HUAT published over 30 papers in this conference and had hot academic exchanges with other participants. The successfully held conference not only promotes the cooperation and exchanges between HUAT and universities from home and abroad, but also provides a window from which these experts and scholars learn about HUAT and the city of Shiyan.
