According to the news released from the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), two projects directed by teachers of HUAT have passed the evaluation and will be funded by NSFC with total funding amounting to 1.02 million Yuan.

One of the funded projects “Design Methodologies for Active Safety Systems of Multi-Trailer Activated Heavy Vehicles” with funding of 800,000 Yuan is directed by Professor He Yuping.The project will be carried out with the help of innovation base of automobile transmission control technology of Hubei Province and the key laboratory of automobile power transmission and electronic control of Hubei Province. Another project entitled “A research on improved test of inverse square law using torsion pendulum” is directed by Dr. Wang Qinglan, which is funded with 22,000 Yuan.
