On the afternoon of December 23rd, President Zhong Yuning, vice president Mao Gaobo led a team to the Dongfeng Parts and Components Group Co. LTD, a branch company of Dongfeng Motor Company, to make investigation and research into the probabilities and potentials of cooperation. Mr. Luo Yuanhong, the general manager and other department directors attended the meeting with the team from HUAT.
Both sides introduced the development of their own, exchanged opinions and discussed issues about regular summits, joint training, cooperation in scientific research, technology research, exchange of teachers and engineers, students employment, continuing education and training, employment of talents and etc, about which both sides share some important agreements.
While pursuing their own strategic development objectives, both sides expressed their wish to make more effort in the areas of cooperation innovation, new models of collaboration with universities, enterprises and companies to provide more opportunity for engineers to update their knowledge and more placement for students to get hands-on experience so that the university and enterprise can collaborate better and advance innovation of enterprise technologies and engineering education, increase both the competitive ability and economic benefits of enterprises, and improve the comprehensive abilities and social influence of the university as well.
