After a period of 3 months of first round and 1 month of second round of competition, the 7th Teaching Competition of Young Teachers of HUAT came into the finals on December 22nd. Presented at the final competition were all the presidents, judges, examiners, all teachers under 35 and some student’s representatives.
After nearly 5 hours of appraisal and reflection of classroom teaching demonstration, all the judges gave their top scores to Hu Yue, a female teacher from College of Science, who finally scored 95.23 in total and won the first prize.
The first competition started in 1996 and seven competitions have been successfully held since then. All the competitors aged under 35 come from 8 colleges with different majors. The competition consists of three stages, including preliminaries, semi-finals and finals. With the “teaching competition rules of young teachers of Hubei Province” as the guidance, the final total scores consist of three parts of appraisal such as teaching design, classroom demonstration and teaching reflection. The judges consist of some prestigious professors with higher authority and credibility.
