According to the scheduled agenda set by HUAT, a seminar on master degree of engineering programs was held in Zhunkou District, Wuhan on December 4th, 2013 with participation of experts and professors from Technical Center of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company, Technical Center of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Ltd, Products Research Institute of Dongfeng Branche,Ltd, School of Transportation and Vehicle Engineering of Wuhan University of Science and Technology in. The seminar was presided by Mr. Ma Qingwei, the director of Graduate Admission Office of HUAT. Mr. Wang Baohua and Ms. Feng Ying, the dean and vice dean of Automotive Engineering College attended the seminar as well.
During the seminar, Mr. Ma Qingwei gave an account of the preparation for the program and interpreted the guiding principles of the program to declare the work of the. Mr. Wang Baohua delivered a detailed report on the demand, prospects, training programs and teaching conditions, quality assurance and other aspects of the feasibility of the program to the experts.
After the report, all the experts had a heat discussion about the program in the aspects of professional orientation, training objectives, curriculum, teaching practice, professional characteristics and etc. From the point of view of enterprises, they also offered some valuable comments and suggestions about program orientation, direction modes and so on.
