On the afternoon of April 23rd, Mr. Delhermite, the vice director of Human resources and director of personnel department, Mr. Li Zhongwei, the manager of personnel department of Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd.(CACL) visited HUAT. They were warmly welcomed by Ms.Wu Bing, the vice secretary and Mr. Mao Gaobo, the vice president of HUAT. Both sides held a talk and exchanged opinions about joint training of talented people on the third floor conference room of the administration building of HUAT.
Since 2012, both sides have been carrying out joint training programs known as “job placement classes” so as to train talented people needed by CACL. The pervious cooperation has achieved significantly and laid solid foundation for further cooperation.
Mr. Delhermite said, with consideration of HUAT’s advantage of cooperation with so many large-sized companies and enterprises, unique features of running a university and ideas of cultivation talented people, outstanding achievements in the field of education and research, CACL hopes to deepen the cooperation, a “win-win” model, in field of technology investment and senior talented people training through model of “job-placement classes” so that HUAT will provide CACL with talented people with more and better engineering backgrounds.
During the meeting, all the participants discussed and exchanged opinions concerned with the details of" senior job-placement classes", such as courses related to majors, knowledge required by the enterprise, internship in the factory, guidance of tutors from the factory, essay defense, systematic management of students according to their majors, students’ involvement into technology reforms, expanding scope of selection students and etc.
After the meeting, Delhermite visited Hubei Provincial key Laboratory of Intelligent Driving Control Automobile Industry Experiment and Practice Training Center and students’ studio of formula racing.
