On the afternoon of March 7th, President Zhong Yuning paid a visit to Mr. Zhu Fushou, the general manager of Dongfeng Motor Company (DFM) at its headquarters in Wuhan.
Mr. Zhu Fushou first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Zhong Yuning and his companion on a trip to the headquarters of DFM. He was very concerned about the present development of HUAT and asked some specific and detailed information about HUAT after it had been detached from DFM. In response to Mr. Zhu’s inquiry, Mr. Zhong introduced HUAT’s development plan in the near future, the main measures to carry it out and five problems that needed to be solved with the help of DFM.
Mr. Zhu showed much appreciation to the new development and future plan of HUAT. He said: “DFM will continue to provide HUAT with more and better support in its future development.”
Mr. Zhong once again thanked the top leaders from the headquarters for their support and affection to HUAT. He said he would try his best to lead the staff and students to serve DFM centering around the target of "constructing DFM as a sustainable company for a hundred year, an international company and a self-developing company in an opening atmosphere” so that HUAT can gain support with service and develop with its contributions.
Mr. He Wei, director of personnel department of DFM, Mr. Zhang Zutong, vice director planning department of DFM, Mr. Luo Yongge, vice president of HUAT, Ms. Ma Xun, director of Wuhan business and Mr. Guo Douxi, vice director of president office also attended the meeting.
