A few days ago, among the list of open courses of quality video 2014 of Hubei Provincial Department of Education was the course of “Automobiles and Materials” presented by HUAT.

The selection of such courses is a project on course construction put forward by the Ministry of Education. The construction of such courses, based on acknowledged teachers, names of the courses, its contents, effects and social influence is mainly carried out in universities and colleges around the nation so that the idea logical content, scientificalness, vitality and novelty of the course is displayed through academic level, teaching characteristics and personality charm of the lecturers.

The course of “Automobiles and Materials” with distinctive characteristics combines automobiles and material with the society and programs with humanity. It takes selection of automobiles parts as its main line and pays much attention to the fundamentals, classics and artistic contents of automobiles and materials as well, fully reflecting the reciprocal development relationship between automobiles and materials. According to the requirement by Provincial Department of education, the course will be put on the campus website and open to the public free of charge after further construction and improvement.
