On the morning of May 16th, President Zhong Yuning visited Mr. Zhou Qiang, a member of Standing Committee of Chinese Communist Party (SCCCP) of DFM in Wuhan. They discussed and exchanged opinions about issues of future development of HUAT.
After expressing his heartfelt thanks to the continuous support from DMF for HUAT, president Zhong gave a brief introduction of future development of HUAT and then focused his topic on preparation for setting up an incubation base with production, learning and research being integrated and “a Research Institute of Dongfeng Culture”. He said that with the advantage of close relationship of flesh and bones with DFM, HUAT must provide the best service for DFM, which in return will speed up the construction and development of HUAT.
Mr. Zhou Qiang attached great importance to the visit of Zhong Yuning and said that there would be no change in the policy of supporting HUAT. As for the issue concerned with setting up the base and institute, Mr Zhou Qiang said that DFM had basically settled the problems with local departments and hopes that HUAT would soon solve the problem of investment. He also said that it is a good idea to set up the Institute of Dongfeng Culture and hopes that it will play an important and active role in the research of the development of DFM.
Also presented at the meeting were Ms. Ma Xun, director of Wuhan Office of HUAT, Mr. Guo Duxi, deputy director of the president office, and Mr. Chen Xuhong, deputy director of personnel department of HUAT.
