On afternoon of October 29th, A ceremony of Signing Cooperation Agreement between Hubei University of Automotive Technology and Equipment Manufacturing Factory (EMF)of Dongfeng Motor Company Ltd. Was held in conference room on the third floor of the administration building. President Zhong Yuning, vice president Mao Gaobo, Luo Yonge and Mr. Wang Qiang, the director of the factory, Liu Jian Guo, Party secretary of the factory attended the ceremony. On behalf of HUAT and EMF respectively, both Mr. Zhong and Wang signed on the agreement, which witnessed the deepening cooperation between the two sides.
This is a return visit to HUAT for the guests of EMF to discuss cooperation affairs, which finally resulted in an agreement after President Zhong Yuning led a delegation to EMF for the same purpose half a year later.
Both sides agree that there is an enormous space for cooperation between the two sides and such a face to face and frank meeting is very important and necessary to promote further cooperation in the fields of production, research and teaching. They’ve also agreed on some other things, such as meetings and interviews on regular basis, contact channels, joint-training of talented resources, further scientific research cooperation and joint –establishment of education bases. Details of how to carry out cooperation items mentioned in the agreement were also discussed during the meeting, such as joint-application for provincial, national engineering centers, key laboratories, sharing of talented resources, equipment and results of scientific researches, exchange of engineers and professors, joint-development of technology, further education of engineers, technology training of clients and etc.
During the break, the guests visited the campus, college of mechanical engineering, college of electrical and information and their laboratories.
