According to the news recently released by Hubei Provincial Education Department (HPED), two visiting professors invited by HUAT were among the name list of “Inviting Outstanding Professors Around the World to Lecture in Hubei Province” , which is a project funded HPED. Both the professors, one of whom is Mr. Kun-Mean HOU, from Blaise Pascal University, France, and another is Ms. Keryn K. Lian from Toronto University, Canada are well-known scholars in their own research fields.

Since 2013, HUAT has been inviting well-known professors in different fields from abroad to give lectures or participate in joint-research at HUAT and their performances are highly valued and warmly welcomed by all the staff and students. Because of their outstanding achievement in the research field, their visits are also funded by HPED. Such practice proved to be an important channel for universities in Hubei Province to strengthen their international cooperation, widen students’ views and etc.
