According to the news released from the secretary office of the committee of automation competition-Siemens Cup for national college students, HUAT was approved to set up a Campus-Hub Learning Center. Of all the applicants in Hubei Province, only 3 universities got approved.

Supported by secretary office of Siemens competition committee, Campus-Hubs are a kind of students learning centers sponsored by Siemens Company to be set up by students on campuses of universities. They are also students’ publicity centers for Siemens Cup, encouraging students to organize publicity activities for the competition. Their main activities cover regular group study, guiding new competitors to prepare for the competition with the help of experienced competitors, guiding PLC fans to learn more about Siemens industrial technology and contents of the competition, organizing exchanging meetings before the competition and help the committee with publicity and organization.
