From November 12nd to 13rd, the eleventh conference of exchange and cooperation between Universities and enterprises, China was held at Wuhan International Expo Center. HUAT was invited to attend the conference and was awarded the honor of “the best in organization”. The conference entitled “innovation, cooperation and development was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, State of Intellectual Property, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Hubei Provincial Government. On the display were more than 2,200 the newest technologies achieved by over 70 universities, colleges and research institutes from more than 20 provinces and cities.

On the display were also 12 achievements made by HUAT, including “the development of industrialization of complete sets of alloy micro plasma surface treatment”, "commercial vehicle digital design technology", "thin-walled high-frequency welded pipe for heat exchange and the development of thermal system".

The section of HUAT attracted much attention from enterprises and companies, many of which showed great interest in the achievements made by HUAT. Cheng Yu Auto Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., Chelai Chewang Car Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and other relevant automotive industrial enterprises made inquiries about details of the achievements and cooperation, laying solid foundation for later practical cooperation. Hubei Jiemei Machinery Co., Ltd. signed a memo of cooperation with Professor Li Zhiqian of HUAT.
