On the morning of November 11th, a cooperation and exchange meeting and a donation ceremony were held at HUAT. Mr. Zhong Yuning, president of HUAT and Mr. Zhou Wangsheng, general manager of Dongfeng Off-road Vehicle Company (D.F.M.ORV) attended the donation and the meeting.
At the meeting, President Zhong Yuning gave a brief introduction about the development of disciplines, the achievement in talents training, scientific research, international cooperation, enrollment and employment of graduates, and innovation of students. On behalf HUAT, he also expressed his thanks to the concerns and support from D.F.M.ORV. He also hoped that further and deep cooperation will be carried out between the two sides in the fields of scientific research, talents training and exchange of information about science and technology. After the introduction, both sides discussed in details about programs of vehicle materials, production methods, control and management, graduates education for on-the-job employees and employee training, etc.
Mr. Zhou Wangsheng said the company would continue to show concern for and provide support to the development of HUAT. With the help of joint programs and HUAT’s technical ability, DFM.ORV could also gain support in technical problem solving and product development.
