On the 7th of November, an employment fair for graduates of 2016 was jointly held on campus by Shiyan Human Resource department and HUAT. One hundred and thirty enterprises and companies offered more than 3,500 jobs at the fairs, one third of which came from other provinces. The jobs covered a wide range of fields focusing on automotive engineering, mechanics, electric automation, marketing, automation, international trade, e-business, materials, and computers. More than 2,500 students from HUAT and nearby universities and colleges were present at the fair.
Mr.Cheng Hongbing, CUC of HUAT and vice CUC Ms. Wu Bing went to the fair for inspection and had talks with some directors of the recruiting enterprises and companies about the information of their companies, post requirements and pay. They showed great concern about the future development of the graduates in these companies.
Most of the directors spoke highly of the graduates from HUAT. They are more popular with enterprises. They say that graduates from HUAT are highly qualified not only in comprehensive personality, but also in technical skills, hands-on ability because of their experience in enterprises, which make them quickly adapted to the new jobs. “That’s the reason why we are here again”, one of the directors said.
According to the feedback from the fair, conditions concerned with pay and others don’t vary much from 3,000 to 4,000 Yuan a month. For those who offer higher pay more requirements for knowledge and English proficiency are demanded.
