On April 22, a meeting about cooperation between university and local government was held between HUAT and Ningbo Jiangbei District. Participating at the meeting were Mr. Xu Huixiang, vice director of Ningbo Jiangbei district, Lu Hongjun, vice director of department of Shiyan human resources and social security, Ms. Wu Bing, vice CUC of HUAT, and other leaders of related department and schools.
Ms. Wu Bing spoke first at the meeting by addressing a welcoming speech and made a brief introduction about HUAT, wishing the meeting a productive one.
Mr. Lu Hongjun then made an introduction about the economic and social development of Shiyan and also spoke highly of HUAT’s academic features among universities.
Mr. Xu Huixiang made an introduction about basic information of Ningbo Jiangbei District, hoping for further cooperation with HUAT in science research, talents training and recommendation. He also gave high comments on the graduates who are employed by companies and enterprises in Ningbo city.
The meeting ended up with an cooperation agreement signed by Ms. Wu Bing on behalf of HUAT and representatives of Ningbo city government, Ningbo Zhongxin human resources company, Zhejiang Baocheng mechanical technology company and Ningbo Jianxin chassis system company.
After the meeting, the guests took a campus visit. At the time when the meeting was held, other representatives from 12 key enterprises of Ningbo city had recruitment and received 800 resumes from students. It was said that the recruitment fair offered 230 jobs focusing on mechanics, materials and automobiles.
