A news released from the bureau of science and technology in Shiyan said a project entitled A Research on the Development of Automotive Electronics Industry in the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan of Shiyan city won a first prize in 2015. The project was carried out by Mr. Dong Wenbo, a young teacher from school of humanity of HUAT. "Shiyan Soft Science Outstanding Achievement Awards" are set to promote the development of soft science, provide the city government with scientific guidance and advice with decision-making and modern macro-management. The poll produced a total eight first prizes , sixteen second prizes, twenty-four third prizes, the contents of which cover as many as areas as economy, society, culture, and environmental protection.

It is said that in order to accomplish the project, Mr. Dong Wenbo spent more than 2 years visiting and investigating hundreds of automotive companies, enterprises, municipal departments for the first-hand materials. Guided by State policies on automotive industry in China, Mr. Dong made an overall research into the present situation, problems to be faced and future development of automotive electronic market in Shiyan, which serves a guideline for government decision makers to make future plans related to automotive electronics industry in Shiyan.
