The 12th MOS Final was held on May 14, 2016 in Beijing. Ms. Luo Meng, a student from school of electrical and information won grand champion in the group of PowerPoint 2010 and third prize in the group of Excel 2010. He will on behalf of China participate the international MOS Contest which is to be held in Florida, USA later this year. By then, there will be hundreds of participants from 170 countries and regions in the competition. Other students from the same school also had good achievement in the contest. Mr. Yu Dongdong won the second and third prize in the group of Word 2010 and Excel 2010 respectively. Ms. Yu Yirong the second prize in the group of Word 2010, the third prize in the group of PPT 2010, and Ke Zhirong, the third prize in the group of Word 2010, the third prize in the group of Excel 2010 and Tu Congcong the third prize in the group of PPT 2010. And because of the students excellent performance in the contest, Mr. Li Fahai, the tutor also won a special honor for his effort in guidance.
It is reported that MOS contest was jointly organized by National Higher Education Research Institute of Basic Computer Education, Microsoft in China, Pearson and CERNET. It is grand competition with more than 10 thousand participants from colleges and universities around the country, 205 of whom entered the grand finals.
