On May 18th, an agreement signing ceremony was held at meeting room of ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), in which ICBC will invest 4.8 million on the construction of Smart Campus. Leaders from both sides attended the ceremony and expressed their hopes.
ICBC is another largest state-run bank in China and the branch in Shiyan has a close relationship with HUAT and has been providing support to HUAT ever since its foundation. Both sides believe the construction of Smart Campus will greatly benefit both the teachers and students of HUAT. With the efforts from both sides, they hope to make it a model to cooperate between universities and banks.
