On May 9 to 12, Prof. Watty, Dean of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of Ulm University of Applied Science, Germany, visited HUAT and had a series of academic exchange activities with the staff and students. Among the activities, Prof. Watty held a written test and an interview with 12 student applicants applying for studying in Germany. He also gave a lecture to the students who were going to apply for Ulm University of Applied Science in the next 3 years, and answered all the questions by the students about the teaching models, program setting, teaching resources, research facilities and international cooperation etc.
During the visit, Prof. Watty also met and talked with Professor Wang Baohua, dean of school of automotive engineering and Ms. Ma Xun, director of international cooperation and exchange office. The talks ranged from training mode and teaching methods of Ulm University of Applied Science, future cooperation such as all English lectures for students from Germany etc.
