Funded by Provincial Department of Education, 12 students of HUAT will go to University of Bolton, Britain for 26 days’ Summer-camp study during the summer vacation. On July 4 in the afternoon, the school had a meeting prior to their departure. Both vice president Zhang Youbing and Ms Zhang Hongxia, director of teaching department made a speech at the meeting. Ms. Zhang said that the summer camp was not simply a touring activity, but a valuable opportunity to study and practice. She hoped that all them would cherish the opportunity and make the best of it by studying hard, thinking more and then tell other students their impressions and feelings about the trip after they came back to the school.

As finalists from more than hundreds of candidates all over the campus, Mr. Zhang Youbing congratulated them on their winning out while put forward to 5 requirements that they should have time and discipline concept, team spirit, pay attention to students’ life and study abroad, and finally, safety.

Ms. Ma Xun, director of international office, explained the agreement between the students and school, informed them of cultural difference and the importance of safety and how to get the consulate protection if they need.
