On November 10th, Mr. Gu Guobiao, a member of Chinese Academy of engineering and also expert in mechanism and electricity was invited to attended “Dongfeng Forum” and gave a report on "new energy and related technologies".
With many years of experience in scientific research, Mr. Gu in his eighties gave a report focused on such four subjects as “highly efficient motors and electrical cars”, “new energy and electrical cars”, “new energy and troubles” and “urbanization energy system”, which left deep impression on the audience by vivid examples and simple descriptions. His devotion to scientific research also moved all the teachers and students. The audience asked questions once in a while and Mr. Gu answered them very patiently.
It is reported that the forum is part of the activities of “the 2016 Beijing academicians and experts in Shiyan and the State Department experts Service grassroots (Shiyan)", organized and by Beiing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (BMHRSSB), Shiyan committee Organization Department and Shiyan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and commenced on November 9 in Shiyan City. It is also an important content of exchange of talents between the tow cities. This is the third time the activity is organized successfully.
During the activity, experts from Beijing in were invited to Shiyan and gave lectures or reports related to technology of medicine, auto industry, agriculture, food and biology etc in enterprises, hospitals, universities. Apart from spreading advanced information in different fields, these experts also helped local enterprises, companies and individuals to evaluate their innovations and transform them into production, which will promote their core competition and speed up transformation of Shiyan local economy.
