On September 6th, HUAT ushered in more than two thousand new students from around the country and the registration work went on quickly and smoothly with the new registration system being on line, offering the most effective convenience for the new students.
In order that the new students can register quickly and smoothly, Information and Technology Center together with Students Department, Financial Department, Housing Administration Center had several meetings to discuss and solve the problems that occurred in the past year. After several trials and errors, the new registration system was put into full operation on line on August 20th , bringing great convenience to the new students.
The concept of “one-stop-service hall” is completely integrated into the system, making it possible for new students to get everything done on line that is related to registration, such as paying tuition fees, booking houses and daily necessities, collection of personal information etc. The new students experienced the fantastic feeling of getting everything in a few seconds. At the same time, staff of different schools can have a whole picture of new student’s registration information.
