From August 16^th to 20^th, the finals of the 10^th National College Computer Design Competition was held in Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Normal University. Through several selections, two teams composed of students majoring Logistics from School of Economics and Management passed the provincial trials and got into the national finals with their works Management System of Commercial Vehicle Logistic and Management System of Graduation Essays, both of which won the third prize.

The highlights of the success lie in fact that the two teams were competing with more than 2,800 teams, some of which were strong rivals from such famous universities as Peking University, Renmin University of China, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Tongji University and other “211”, “985” universities. The competition consists of local trial competitions and the finals, which lasted for about 6 months.

China college computer design competition jointly hosted by China Higher Education Association and some professional committees such as Computer Education Administration Committee, Software Engineering Education Committee, College Computer Education Committee etc. The competition serves as a platform to test college students’ abilities in computer design, which cover a wide range of areas like software application and development, micro-classes and CAD teaching, animation games, micro film, software outsourcing, computer music and digital media design etc. It aims to advance the reform of college computer education, improve computer teaching quality, motivate students’ interest potentials in computer knowledge, technology and skills so that they can develop innovation ability, entrepreneurial ability and consciousness of team cooperation and become compound talents needed by the society.
