 Hu Yabo, Party Secretary of WETDZ Visits College of Automotive Engineers Based in Wuhan

On August 17th, Mr. Hu Yabo, party secretary of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WETDZ) visited Wuhan modern manufacturing service center for inspection, obtaining information about incubating system, high-tech enterprises, implementation of supporting policies and encouraged reciprocal help and development among enterprises.

 

On the way of investigation and research, Mr. Hu Yabo and his companions also visited college of automotive engineers of HUAT, which is based in the service center. Mr. Zhou Haiying, dean of the college showed warm welcome to Mr. Hu and his companions. He said the settlement of college of automotive engineers in the Zone gained great support and good service from the Zone Committee, which laid a solid and deep foundation for both sides. He also said that with the rapid development of automobile industry, the cutting-edge technology of smart cars had become the focus of research. HUAT planned to invest both financial and human resources and cooperate with Dongfeng Technical Center in the field of network smart cars, exploring a new model of talents training with enterprises, which in turn, would boost the development of HUAT.

 

Mr. Hu Yabo said that in recent years, the rapid development of WETDZ cannot be separated from  the settlement and growth of high-tech industry. The advanced technology in the field of network smart cars was so hot both at home and abroad that a great deal resources were needed. He hopes that both the Zone Committee and enterprises should cooperate and form a joint force and develop harmoniously. After that, Mr. Hu listened to a report about advancement of the project of smart driving, a joint project between HUAT and Dong Company, discussed some related technical issues and visited the construction site of smart car testing. Some staff members attended the talks.
